Based in Woodstock, GA, Pack 625 is a volunteer-led pack made up of families (and parents just like you) committed to teaching critical skills to local youth. Our scouts come from Arnold Mill Elementary School, Little River Elementary School, area private schools and homeschool environments. We are part of the Appalachian Trail District within the Atlanta Area Council.
With nearly 76 families involved, Pack 625 has earned the Gold Journey to Excellence Award for 12 years (2011–2019, 2021, 2023–2024), recognizing outstanding performance in organization, membership, advancement and activities.
We live by the Scout Law (A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent) and the Scout Motto (Be Prepared).
Cub Scouts is open to all youth from kindergarten to fifth grade, and kids can join at any level. Scouts will learn life skills, build character, learn citizenship responsibility and develop physical fitness.
At Pack 625, scouting is a family experience. We encourage the entire family to participate in events and activities. For our youngest scouts (Lions and Tigers), an adult partner is required at all meetings and outings. If a meeting is missed, many adventures can be completed at home. Parents are always welcome—and appreciated—when they volunteer to support pack events and help make Cub Scouts an unforgettable experience for all.
